ENVIRONMENTAL DUE DILIGENCE & RISK ASSESSMENT
REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Managed and/or conducted more than 200 environmental due diligence (phase I and II) environmental site assessments of commercial and industrial properties pursuant to ASTM standard practice. Communicated directly with clients to advise on environmental liability risks regarding real property.

Served as project manager and client point-of-contact for large, multi-state / multi-site assessments involving coordination of field staff from multiple offices nationwide. Phase I projects typically including historical review of property ownership and uses, assessment of current site conditions and operations, review of regulatory records of environmental releases to land, air, surface water and groundwater on site and on neighboring properties, and issues related to water resources and wetlands.

Where appropriate, phase II assessments were conducted including soil and/or groundwater sampling, as applicable, for analysis of petroleum products and/or other industrial solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, and other contaminants.

Conducted inspections and assessments of asbestos containing building materials pursuant to EPA Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) regulations and developed management plans to assist building owners in prioritizing these materials for removal and/or maintenance, as appropriate. Has held EPA AHERA accreditations as asbestos inspector, management planner, project supervisor, and project designer.
